Złote Tarasy

Złote Tarasy

I noticed that the great amount of shopping malls is one of the biggest similarities between Warsaw and some Brazilian cities while I was in the capital of Poland. The polishes also have a strong mall shopping culture like us. As a result, the polish capital offers lots of shopping malls, most of which are also places of entertainment. Three of the biggest malls – Arkadia, Galeria Mokotów and Złote Tarasy – are located near the centre. Zlote Tarasy is one of the most famous ones. The place is a quite modern complex well known for its signature wavy glass ceiling that accentuates cozy lighting in the internal areas. Located next to the central train station, the Złote Tarasy complex signals a bold shift away from the out-of-town malls found in Warsaw, and features familiar stores like Zara, Sephora, Marks & Spencers, Poland’s first Body Shop, Hugo Boss and Van Graf. For leisure, visitors can visit a huge Hard Rock Café which is split over 2 levels and also a multiplex. Besides, it has over 200 restaurants and shops. Złote Tarasy is pretty close to the Palace of Culture and Science and you can have an amazing view to this building from some points of the top floor. However, the architecture is still its most interesting attractive.
