While it may be sad that we don’t have the ice skating rink at Natural History Museum since 2021, the same team behind this beloved London Christmas tradition in now behind one of the city’s latest winter attractions – the Battersea Power Station ice rink! This year, Glide brings a festive extravaganza featuring a Christmas tree, vintage fairground rides, twinkling lights, street food delights, and photo booths. Beyond being a novel addition to London’s ice-skating scene, Skate West End boasts the distinction of being the capital’s first elliptical-shaped (oval) ice rink, skillfully designed to mirror the iconic logo of GOSH Charity. However, the festive enchantment doesn’t stop at the rink’s edge – Hanover Square will be transformed into a complete winter wonderland.
