The Japanese Gardens are definitely a place that was a great surprise in my travel to Buenos Aires. I had already listened that the place was amazing but I found out it was even better than I was imagining when I got there. Actually, it’s one of the largest gardens of this type in the World, outside of Japan. Located in a very beautiful area of Buenos Aires in the neighborhood of Palermo, the the gardens were inaugurated in the 60s on occasion of a State visit to Argentina by then-Crown Prince Akihito and Princess Michiko of Japan. The park is extremely neat and well designed. There is a central lake populated with carps, and many other attractions surround it. The place also have a cultural center, a restaurant, a greenhouse, a gift shop and an open air theatre to entertain people passing by. The park is a great place to relax a little bit, and I do recommend to visit it.
